Introducing undiscovered coin

Getting feedback on mixes or tracks adds a lot of value to the experience on the site. So we've decided to introduce site currency.
We'll give you free mix hosting but each upload with cost you 30 coin for a mix, single or remix.
NOTE: If you are a subscriber you are exempt from coin
You can earn coin by participating on the site. Below is how you can earn precious coin:
- 2 coin awarded for leaving comments on a mix, single or remix
- 2 coin awarded for giving a mix, single or remix with a star rating (max 5 votes per day)
- 2 coin awarded for posting a new blog
- 2 coin awarded for replying to a blog
- 2 coin awarded for adding a personal DJ Chart
- 10 coin awarded for referring someone using the invite function
- 10 coin awarded for referring someone via our referral link program
- 2 coin awarded for creating a gallery
- 2 coin awarded for creating a classified or event
- Transfers You can beg other members to give you some coin!
How much do I need to do in order to upload a mix or track?
So to get enough coin to upload something, you could listen to 3 mixes or tracks, leave a comment and a rating for each (4 coin). Then you could post a new blog entry or comment on someone else's.
Typical senario
3 comments - 6 coin
3 ratings - 6 coin
1 blog post - 2 coin
1 blog comments - 2 coin
Total 16 coin
IMPORTANT NOTE: COIN WILL BE REVOKED IF ANY OF THE ABOVE METHODS ARE ABUSED, THIS INCLUDES OVER SPAMMING THE BLOG!!

Here's a good tip for earning some passive coin..
You'll notice in the right hand side main menu, there's an link labelled Your referrals. Click this link and you get a page listing all the people you've referred to the site.
To get referrals, all you need to do is post messages on other sites and forums etc. using your referral link in your message. Each time a new user registers on the site that came from your referral, you will make 10 coin!
Your referral link is at the top of the Your referrals page. Just copy and paste that link exactly ..

Ive just returned to this site after almost a year's absence and I have to say that this new coin system is really quite cool, it will help get people motivated in to listening to each others work instead of just dumping thier work and heading off else where. I know it will have me working for my coin. First time Ive come across a concept like this I love it. I just hope collecting coin doesnt become an obsession.

Site looks pretty good. I was using www.musicv2.com but the site was removed due to the owner being affected by the economic crisis but was loving the site, very easy to use with a great UI and only cost me $25.00 and I could upload as many mix sets as I wanted. I would suggest having the option of allowing people to pay instead of earning coin. Profile look a bit messy, maybe try to simplify the profile page.

Its all about feedback! I think the coin system is one of the most innovative ideas i've seen on the web. I had a huge absence in visiting the site but have found the interaction aspect highly useful (and entertaining). Well done.
