There are reports coming through that Micheal Jackson has suffered a heart attack and died. It is still unconfirmed officially but looks like he may have met his maker. This saddens me. If it is true may he rest in peace. He will be missed.

It's true. He died

It's true. He died overnight of a heart attack.

Apparently, in his will he expressed his desire to be melted down and made into a Playstation so that little kids could still play with him.

(you just knew it would start early)

Jeff Goldblum also died. He was in NZ and fell to his death.

Even more sadly (IMO), Farah Fawcett lost her battle against cancer.

In all seriousness, Michael

In all seriousness, Michael Jackson changed the face of music, it's hard to understand the man as there was something seriously wrong with him, but what made him so wrong also made him such an amazing talent. He was way beyond his years, he danced like no-one had danced, he made music that shaped generations. A supreme force of nature, an misunderstood human and the butt of many jokes, he has had an impact on all our lives, and much like rhyspdk, this saddens me, i think of what he achieved and what he could have achieved and i see a person who had no ordinary life, a man when he was 10 and a kid when he was 50. I hope there is some peace for his family and himself. He will be missed indeed, but his sound, his moves and his music will last for the ages.

Well said Auzwa. I have to

Well said Auzwa. I have to admit some of the jokes that I have heard since his passing have been hilarious. Looks like he is gonna take the majority of top ten spaces in the UK charts this week. Testament to his impact. I played at The Cobden Club last night and the Jackson tunes went down a treat. When playing a funk type set I've always thrown in a few MJ tracks in and was wary not to over do them last night, but the dancefloor appreciation was in full effect last night. Some of the lesser know or played tracks often get the best response. Truly saddened by his passing.
