I miss...
...music production. lol.
On top of not having any of my VSTs installed, my drive letters are all swapped around, so when I try to load any of my tracks, it has to manually search through all my user locations to find the samples. 
What a pain.
But, not as much a pain as this computer that Im working on right now. I picked it up off this old betty down the street -- she needed a format and re-installation of her OS. Turns out her Hard Drive is completely corrupted, so I have to use the dreaded HD recovery tool (which takes forever and a day) to retrieve her files...
Couldn't work on music even if I wanted to (which I do, oh so mucho). lol
Thank god this job pays me extremely well, it'll pay for the hair plugs I'll need in a year from the stress of this work. lol

...not to mention, that I had to disconnect one of my drives (the one with all my abelton and reason productions) to run that diagnostic on that drive, so no music production for me today!

I feel you, but try six months bro! I haven't played or even touched a record in 6 months! It's painful! You guys don't know how lucky you are. I used to take it for granted, but not anymore!
BUT I'm going home for a quick 3 week tour on the 28th of July, so my decks are going to get a flogging while I'm there! Not to mention eating heaps of food I've missed, drinking heaps of Aussie beer and tearing it up at the snow!

Shit.... I've been about 4 months free, playing with my toys, slowly composing and today I have a new Job, that means to be in home late, too late for turning up the volume of my monitors or even turn my monitors ON!... Also, too tired to do something except sleep... Shit!!! Another shock to my sweet hobbie of making noise...
I'm not so much inspired because I'm not sad 'bout any specific woman... so, without inspiration, without time and tired after work... Don't spect so much new music from me, hehehe.... There's only 2 new songs, the rest are oldies remastered...

mmmm... Sometimes for the musicians, inspiration doesn't come from everywhere... Mine come from sadeness... If there's no sadeness, It's hard to make something really deep and mine. I can make music but if I don't really feel what I'm doing surelly there will be a folder delete after finish it... That's when I make remixes... It's easier to change than create a 100% original song.

Thankyou sandra, I know what you're trying and don't misunderstand me.... Just, My music have that sad feel, always because is moved by sadeness or something of the same kind... When I'm not that way I make another kinda music, like remixes or something and I have those "pretty" songs too but those are private
. That's why I have this durden nick, and durden Is without inspiration, hehehehe... But I'm working in the remixes proyect for now, I have 13 songs to remix... Coming soon

So miss producing, but Im uninspired yet again. lol
It's raining outside today, so perhaps I might give a shot at some minimal/ambient sounds -- see where that takes me.
..sorry I havent been around much lately ppl, the whole life thing is getting pretty hectic. Ontop of setting a marriage date, we're also getting all our papers in order to fill out for my fiance's residency permit to Canada, for when we move back up there this winter. Heavy shit.
But, Im here, still kicking, not writing as much (been drumming more than usual lately on my bongos), just keepin it real (assuming that this life is real).

That's all... I'm workin 13 hours a day and i get home at 9 pm so tired to even eat... I miss the sound of my monitors.... I get home so tired that I don't have energy for nothing... not music, sex or any social relation...
