...something thats dark, and deep, that rambles on about something for about 58seconds, starting out kind of low, and gradually coming to a crescendo at the end.
hehe, Tall order yeah, I know. lol I'll be searching all day for something like this. That, and trying to get my headset mic to sound somewhat decent, so I can try to attempt this myself.

Why don't you script something, hook up a mic and get a mate in to do it? The best part of music is the community aspect... I just got my bandmate's girlfriend to do some spoken word on a track called "forever" and its gone down a treat at gigs the last two weeks. One day i might just get my mic shy girlfriend, who speaks 3 languages, to lay something down... one day...

If I can get my mic shy g/f to sing or speak into the mic, I would gladly do it.
hehe I've still got to warm her up to it, cuz shes pretty self conscious of her voice (even though it sounds great
).
I ended up doing the vocals myself. My issue was, that I didnt want to record on my shitty headset microphone, just because of the quality issue, but it ended up sounding pretty ok, after I put it through some final production (De Essing was a bitch...). The song is called Parallel, and its up in my profile here on undiscovered if u care to take a look.
Cheers for the reply

Also chek out a site called www.ccmixter.org
it has artists and singer acapella's provided under different cc licenses of use, aswell as samples etc.... you may be able to ask for the style of singing you want from one of the artisits!
Hope that helps!,
