Tracks don't scream when you're killing them...

I suppose this is why so many groups have 2 members. You're your own worst enemy...yada yada yada...
Thats one of the things that really eats me, is being able to create something so pure, beautiful and intelligent, yet A) not have enough inspiration to finish what you started, and B) sense to leave it well enough alone when option 'A' runs dry. Puzzled
Then lo and behold, 3 months down the road, you find the ending, that last piece to completion, the synth/drum/sample/effect of utter sweet bliss. But in the time between, its sheer seething torture. 1000 nails on 1000 chalkboards, and your body and mind are one giant earlobe.

So... How do you know if you're killing a track?
