Crate Project - Crate Mix 2 - The House Sound of Geisha // Mixed by geisha

For a young DJ, I had amassed quite a collection of music on vinyl and had two specific crates in which I kept my favourites. Some were rare; most were on the original labels. All of them would pretty much be considered classics now. One fateful night in Hong Kong, the kitchen above the club I was working in flooded and the crate that I had left in the (presumably safe) DJ box was filled with water. Most of the records were ruined.

I vowed that I would replace every record in the crate no matter how long it took. It has taken a very long time but I am starting to rebuild the crate and I have amassed enough of the tunes to start putting sets together.

Ladies and gentlemen, I give you the Crate Project; all vinyl, nothing digital, classic tunes, all killer and no filler.
