Hey mate thought I'd check this mix out seeing as it has straight 5's only listened to first 10mins and it does sound pretty good, however I have noticed something very SIMILAR about the first 4 comments about your mix, all are fans of yours and all use the exact same writing format ,,, no what I mean ,,,, this looks very suss to me. As in you have created multiple profiles yourself and made these comments yourself ,, But forgive me If I'm wrong. Otherwise great sounding mix

Yeah I agree with Dan on this one!!
Punctuation is all very similar,with the multiple breaks,, and full stops...
Not to mention the mixing was rather choppy,,, and a little rough in places!!
The mixing was always left till about the last 10 - 15 secs of the tracks.

This site is more about self improvement than self promotion dont mean to offend just telling you how it looks from this side i did however still listen to your mix and i will do my best to give you something constructive
My first question is wtf was the deadmau5 remix of calvin harris doing in there? it was so out of place with what you started on and what you went into and it is far from minimal. Like mike said you did leave alot of your transitions really late which robbed your mix of any really flow or focus as it starts to plod and get boring. That said your beatmatching was pretty tight but its only one side of the triange (beatmatching, programing, track selection form the 3 sides in my opinion) and it can still be crap without the other 2.
Like i said this isnt supposed to be offensive its supposed constuctive so i hope you can take someting from what ive said

seriously , thank you , i will take what uve said , on board and put it to use ,,, as for the deadmau5 track your totally right ,, as i said to mike since my gear was stolen , i have just been going from mate to mate , using there gear , and smashin out what ever i can , i dont get alot of time behind the decks as id like , theres no excuse exept poor track selection , plus i was hoping to get alot more than this mix done ,,, but wasnt able to ,, so ,, stuff it i uploaded this one , and i can tell you now , it is my friends giving me 5 stars and it is them leaving comments , we are all close , it a small place, here and can see how it looks but it , it is definitely not me ,, now that u guys have pointed it out , i will get them to be more realistic than just tryin to make me look good , thanks again for your comment

I agree with everything added by the real contributors so far. The mix was OK - definitely not a five star. Some decent tracks in there occasionally. I thought it was worth about 2 stars - 3 max. I'm giving you 1 star for the blatant self indulgent reviews from your pretend fan club. Interesting how on your blogs and posts you use the same grammar and punctuation as your fanclub do. Oh this thread has been amusing to follow. DBF how come none of your friends have come to your defense or more importantly the defense of their right to an opinion on music and your mix? Also, if they were such music lovers and down with the club scene wouldn't they take the time to look around this site for other mixes and tracks? Sheee-it that was 25 years ago dude. I was at Hoyts wearing Adidas sneakers with fat laces, Odysey (I think they were called?) pants with a white bolt down the side & we had matching polyester tracksuit jackets!!! (I won't be showing those photos to my kids!!!)
In 1989 a few friends & I went to see Ice-T perform out the front of Disco City on the balcony overlooking Pitt St across the road from the Hilton Hotel. He performed "The Hunted Child" & "Colors" with brothers DJ Evil E & Henry G on the turntables. One of my mates was dressed as Flavour Flav, white Raybans, clock & all. Later that night we were waiting for a train at a suburban station. It was late & the only other people on the platform apart from us were two older guys. They approached us & one of them flashed an ID badge quicker than we could read it & said "Graffiti Task Force!"
He questioned us, checked our hands for paint stains, & searched us. No evidence of graffiti paraphernalia. So as he stood there flustered & pissed of that he had nothing over us & playing with his butterfly knife, he turned to us with his nose turned up & came out with..
"Well if your not out here bombing trains & you haven't stolen anything, what the hell are you doing out here at 12 O' Clock at night, dressed up like a rappee.. and looking like shit, hey?!?!"
We had to try our hardest not to burst out laughing in his face! it was one of the funniest things I had ever heard from a person who claimed at least to be an authority figure. He and his partner(?) walked off & we were rolling around on the platform in hysterical laughter.
Turned out we had missed the last train & tried catching a taxi. Interestingly enough, no vacant taxi would stop for us & Flavour Flav, I wonder why???

At 2:17am EST it has a response from one of your friends but it sounds like she's talking to one of her friends!!!! Don't you think it's pretty strange that the only thing that Reema has had to say on this forum apart from talking your mix up was in a blog post about some random user from the US about using Mixmiester at 2:17am on a Sunday morning.
But you've only commented on other contributors music on 2 occassions & on one of them all you had to offer was "NICE WORK" & you gave them 3 stars.
DBF I hope you can learn something from this thread & the way it has untangled. I am not doing this to be nasty or vindictive, it's just that it doesn't come accross to be very legit to me. Whether all your friends on here are real or not, it does not do a lot for your credibility when they all rate you with 5 stars, embellish & talk you up in the way that they have. If your mixes were recorded the way you say you may actually have some potential as a DJ but I can promise you that the attitude & the ego that you are carrying will ensure that you fail in the DJ game & in many of life's other challenges as well.
