Nice work Sam. Some really groovy tech house to be found in here. I've got a couple of these tunes myself.

The only thing letting this mix down for me was the flow. What I mean is that it chugged along, building slowly but noticeably till around the forty eight minute mark. After that it was as though you went down a gear and started to build up again with only about 12 mins remaining. This is definitely a great technique for longer mixes. I feel that for sixty min mixes its a little harder to get away with this without noticeably dropping the energy levels before the dancefloor is ready to hear it. Just my humble opinion anyway mate.

That said, it was only a minor grievance and the quality of the tuneage throughout more than made up for it!

Love the tribal elements throughout this mix.

Excellent transitions throughout too. And by that I don't mean specifically beat matching, more so the subtle changes in energy levels that goes with correct phrasing techniques.

Nice one mate! Smiling

No problem at all dude!

No problem at all dude! Thats the beauty of this site, there is so much to be gained by everyone who contributes. I myself have learned subtle tricks and tips from feedback on my own mixes as well as reading feedback on the mixes of others. I've also learned a massive amount of info in regards to production just from reading feedback on different tracks that get posted, not to mention the two production books that I've purchased on recommendations from contributors on this site.

And yes you're right, your are getting closer and closer to the perfect mix all the time. I feel its better to give honest feedback as it gives you something concrete to work with and when I do give a five star you know its deserved.

Great mix there Sam .. I really like your rolling-on style, the beats kept building nicely .. As Q commented, it did mini out a bit towards the end losing a bit of that momentum. But still very decent track choices. Your taste I like a veray muche!
