Again..... a superb example of your talents, Fish'n.

Looking at the track list, I at first thought of an earlier mix of yours in which you tried to have 3 tracks playing at all times throughout, the result of which was a mix that sounded a bit over-crowded. I believe you aptly commented that you didn't give the tracks "enough room to breath". Here, however, you have achieved a level of balance that works extremely well. Aurally, it is complex, but there is no hint of over-crowdedness. It is intricate, yet full-flowing with just the right balance of atmosphere, melody, and driving beats. I like the ethereal breaks to end it all. Very polished.

Cheers,
Matt

This just worked!!
Nothing you did was overdone, and the little subtleties in your mixing made the sound progressions so controlled and so well executed that I found myself thinking about those epic parties i attended as a younger lad, when the sounds were designed to keep you dancing all night looooong...
Thank you again my friend, this was special!

This is progressive house in all its beauty. I agree with the trout, this mix wasnt too busy and had me feeling nice and sleepy as good prog always does. Really good work man, this has given me a new perspective on software mixing.

Fucking sensational Fishn!

Man I love your mixes but this one has truly set the bar (again) - so many of my favorite artists too!

Each track has been blended with such ingenuity, and all have their place in this mix. The beauty of it, for me, was that you crossed the boundaries of at least three genres bu the structure, flow, vibe and the way you've mixed the set lends it to PROGRESSIVE.

Beautiful.

I had memories of James Lavelle, Steve Lawler and Danny T. Three of my all-time favorite legendary spinners.

I'm turning 30 in two weeks... would you mind DJing for me please?

Much love as always for your work Fishn - truly great stuff.

Peace
Luke

Hi Luke, thanks, so much for the great feedback.. Im glad it hit the spot.. Id love to play your party- Happy Birthday- but alas the distance could be a problem.. Dont sweat it though, with your mixing Im sure you will rock the joint. Im so happy the progressive nature came across through the different genres, This is exactly what I was trying to achieve, and Im stoked you felt the love.. Just like it used to be. If im ever over your way Well hook up for a spin and some beers..
Cheers again

Five star effort yet again Fishn!

You have never failed to impress and this offering is no exception. I love the harder more upfront groove you have going on in this mix - its right up my alley. Once again you have delivered a lesson in how to layer and build a set, traversing through dreamy, funky and more upfront realms of tech and progressive. I really like the intros that you use in all your sets. I also like the sporadic use of atmospheric breaks throughout this set. It really lends itself to creating more of a journey overall.

There is not much else to say except well done on yet another flawless effort!

Thanks QTEK for the listen,

Thanks QTEK for the listen, You are far too kind, I love to play a mix of genres as it adds to the journey and seeing as I try to take a mix somewhere , when you have 1 hour I find that adding breaks as well as other atmospherics etc gives the impression of a longer more memorable set - Well Hopefully, To do this though I have to study my tunes as well as much around seeing which goes with what - basically just jamming, So most of my mixes are programmed. I have as you know just aquired an APC 40 myself, and I love it.. I went all adlib on Saturday night which was an interesting experience. i have set up some new effects, and coupled with 8 decks should definately be very interesting. I think I went through something like 25 tracks in an hour , which flowed Ok but was a little up and downish, anyway I digress, Thankyou so much for the listen and the feedback..
