SUBLIME!!!

This is the only way to describe this mix my friend! This is by far your best work so far in my opinion. It has everything - awesome track selection, beautiful flow throughout, seamless mixing, emotion, darkness, warmth plus that elusive X-factor - that extra something that makes a mix greater than the sum of its individual tracks. You definitely are setting the standard on this site in the various tech styles. Can't praise this one highly enough!

spot on Str80, you nailed this one, funkin killer mix!!!!!!! my only gripe (and its totally subjective) is the track after Manderin Girl, fully lost me to 80s master system style sounds, but after that was lovely all the way Smiling
5 stars bro, you deserve them - on point mixing, wicked progression of sounds, great selection and it did indeed warm my winter evening
And i agree, your raising the bar lad, keep it up Laughing out loud

Hey Travis, Not as clinical
3

Hey Travis,
Not as clinical as your Late May Sessions in the beat mixing and structure stakes
But your track selection is sublime! What an awesome soundscape.
When you hit that prog tip at about 28 mins for the next two tracks I was in lala land - but you stopped and went almost minimal/electro?? Contrary to the other DJs who have commented on this mix, in my opinion, this was not where I wanted you to take me in this mix...
There was great warmth in your tracks especially in the first 4-5 tracks, and the 2nd last one...
But you are pushing the boundaries here and you are posting alot of mixes which has to be noted. Perhaps a re-jig in the structure of this mix, and we'll have a winner, as the tracks speak for themselves!
Hope this critique was helpful for you...

Thanks man your critique is

Thanks man your critique is much appreciated, im always working hard on improving daily and your experinced ear is very helpful indeed. Ive listened to this mix a couple of more times since ive posted it and i annoys me more every time, just the little things you know. My late may sessions just came out man, the first take was the first time id played the tracks and the second time was what was posted, literaly the tunes told me what to do, but inturn ive learned alot from how it came out and how it was recieved and the headspace i need to be in to mix really well, so thanks to everyone. My next post might take a little while but i hope to share some emotion and hopefully inspire some peeps with it.

peace.

You are already inspiring

You are already inspiring peeps with your current repetoire - So thank you so much for sharing your sound. Look forward to seeing you break through here in Australia. I reckon most clubs in Australia who are serious about electronic music promotion would love to have the Late May Sessions playing at their venue around 1-2am
