This track was inspired by an old record of a very obscure Martin Luther King speach.
I used Cubase, all virtual synths, out board processing, featuring an old korg tape delay as the main effect on the vocal.

Great production. I'm not an expert on minimal styles but I know what I like. The MLK samples were fantastic, I like the way it fits in to the song, the FX you used on it were great, the echoes, the filtering. A bit of compression to the bassline would go a long way to giving it some oomph! the synth sounds were good, a tad loud in some spots, like in the first quarter, I understand you don't want to fix this song up. You are on the right track, pun intended LOL, keep up the good work cause it was good. All the best. Cheerz

very nice!! i dont think the bassline should be any more distorted, maybe a touch but it does suit the "feel" and vocals, and i can imagine it would sound a LOT better in wav format. i do feel the vocal sample could have been louder in the parts where the the bassline and more sounds are also present, whereas when the vocals are mostly by themselves and a couple of other instruments the vox level is fine.
overall, i really dig the downtempo feel and atmosphere that is created. very soothing. well done indeed!!

Loved it. I do think the bassline is too starlky contrasted to the electro feel the synths give the track. Kinda felt the kick and bass were way too tight -(like a dance track) compared to the mids and high end.
I feel the production is nice and clean tho, and I love Dr Martin.
4/5. I'll give you 5 with a little modification

Nice vibe, that tape delay is sweet, I love that effect, (I don't own a hardware tape delay, but the one in Guitar Rig works pretty well). I don't usually like minimal synth sounds, but they work in this piece. Cool track.
