I actually sat down to write something for my Fiance (this song was inspired by her). I was going to write just a keyboard melody piece, but my electronic side always kicks in, and 2 weeks later this came out. hehe.
Im learning so many new techniques with my production, that my computer is starting to be too slow actually, so this track got cut a little short, due to the fact that my CPU usage was at %100, so I had a really hard time previewing and final-cutting this track. Same with the other 2 tracks I uploaded here.
I think its time for an upgrade no (too bad Im broke)? heheh

Hey Boeko,
This track is fantastic. It just oozes quality from start to finish.
I like subtlety and the over all build of the piece, but think it's a tad repetitive (I'm really sorry.... I feel bad typing this!). I think a slight variation on the baseline melody (at the 4:00 mark, perhaps?), like dropping it down a key or something or maybe stripping it back to just that nice low rumble, with the bleeps and laugh over top for a bit would work really well. But that's just my opinion.... I'm not trying to step on your creative toes or anything.

My Fiance said the same thing when this track was in its alpha stages (the repetitiveness), so I threw a variation into the bassline. I can see where you're coming from with altering the bassline after the breakdown. I'll give that a shot, and see where it takes me. I use to have 3 variations, but had to drop it to two, cuz the bass synth I used on this track, starts to lose its tune (ie. sounds out of tune) below A Minor 2 (about 4 notes lower than the lowest note you here in this track). So I'll have to think of something pretty creative to give it a little more variation on the bassline.
McB, don't worry about stepping on my toes -- thats why I put these tracks up here, so people can review them, and give me criticism.

I havent had much inspiration lately, so I've only got about 4 tracks so far to press on this one. I was hoping to get at least 7-8. Don't know if that'll happen. Im working on a 5th right now, but its stalled, as is my whole music production. 1 reason::: Rain. And it hasnt stopped for the past 7 months, and isnt stopping until May at least. crawling out of my skin with seasonal depression m8. The days that its not raining (but its always cloudy) Im outside with my stunt kite. Found that as a new passion of mine. Love anything to do with flying, and the fact that you can spin a kite around and do tricks, and make it defy gravity.... man... Elating in these depressing days.
