Tim lo-fi stoakes born and raised in nottingham where some early trips to some crazy raves got him interested in the whole dance music explosion. starting out playing techno in small clubs and parties to nottinghams now defunkt pirate radio station Power FM with allan barratt and woody, it was from this that the chances came to play at venue 44 in mansfield, the warehouse in derby and other wierd and wonderfull little clubs and underground parties. He then moved to Winchester to study for his fine art degree. the sleepy little town was to be the place that he first heard the funky fusion of house and techno.... when the night he co-promoted called underground experience became the busiest event in the term time calender booking the three blind mice crew from portsmouth and terry francis, the techouse had taken over. It was from here that monthly trips to london were on the cards, with one place in mind....Wiggle. Gigs around the country started to come in like the sunday sessions in prtsmouth, the subway and the escape in brighton, aswell as parties in london. Then when offered the chance to move to london with his now wife the chance was jumped at. moving to croydon had alsorts of benefits.. apart from the easy access to the city, there was also Swag records..it is through swag he got to play at there weekly nights with Paul'hommer'stubbs, christmas parties, guest slots at liz and martins Kerffuffle, aswell as some crazy allday parties in brixton. From there on it snowballed, playing to the world on internet radio,pulseradio.net with the urban echo boys -paul and neil. mad nights/weekends in clubs like, play,herbal,traffik and the egg to name a few.
